MUST Ministries Summer Lunch Program Needs Volunteers

Worship Choir in New York
This weekend, twenty members from our Worship Choir are participating in a mass choir of over two hundred and forty singers from across the US joining together at Lincoln center in New York City to premier a major new work from one of our favorite composers, Mark Hayes. The centerpiece of the concert is Mr. Hayes' new composition entitled, "Requiem" and an additional work being premiered is a setting of the "Gettysburg Address." The concert is part of a larger concert on Memorial Day entitled "Requiem for the Brave" with other choirs presenting the classical work from Maurice Durufle also entitled, "Requiem." We hope this is just the first of many future special concerts of which our Worship Choir will take part. We are grateful to those members of our Worship Choir who are not attending this trip for their leadership in this Sunday's worship service and for Mrs. Melody Hess leading worship and Mrs. Jan Vansant playing the piano while Dr. Paul Hill and Mr. Harris Wheeler are away for this concert trip.
