The central act of worship in the scripture is not singing hymns or songs or listening to a sermon. The central act of worship is building an altar and offering the fruit of ones labor giving. (Adam Hamilton, Enough.)
The Apostle Paul writes, Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:27
At First Baptist Marietta we encourage you to give as an act of worship as a response to your relationship with God. We operate on a ministry budget, agreed upon by the congregation that gives us the opportunity to reach out to the community and around the world as the presence of Christ. Your financial contribution is used for ministry, missions, discipleship, worship and the gathering of the community of believers.
You can give to First Baptist Church Marietta in several ways- with your time, talent, or dollars.
If you wish to donate online, we accept direct bank account transfers and VISA or Mastercard transactions.
