@theWell Water is life. But across the globe an estimated 880 million people still don't have access to clean water. In some cases water simply is not readily available. In those areas where streams or lakes are accessible, more often than not they are contaminated with harmful bacteria such as ecoli causing dysentery, disease and even death.
But we're changing that one well at a time.
@theWell is a mission project sponsored by First Baptist Church of Marietta that provides clean drinking water by digging wells in Africa, India and Indonesia. Each well supports entire villages not only providing clean drinking water but also much needed irrigation for farming. This year our goal is to dig 100 wells.
