Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry based on eight principles from the Beattitudes (Matthew 5) and the 12 steps of recovery as expressed in the Bible. Through this program, you can learn to experience freedom from hurts, freedom from habits, and freedom from hang-ups.
Anger, grief, loneliness, alcoholism, drug addiction, co-dependence, eating disorders, emotional issues.

Meetings are held every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m., Room 251, Childcare is available. The end of a marriage is devastating to all involved, and Marietta First Baptist Church wants to reach out to those in our community who are impacted by divorce. DivorceCare is a special seminar and support group for those who have or are going through a divorce. If you are going through a divorce or know someone who is going through a divorce, please attend or invite them to attend this very helpful group. This is an ongoing group and you can attend at anytime. Topics include: Whats happening to me? When will I feel better? And others. |

GriefShare is a 13-session video support group for those struggling with grief. GriefShare is a Christ-centered and Biblically based network of thousands of grief recovery support groups meeting around the world. The goal is to help you, the person going through grief, through these sessions and to provide ongoing ministry to people in the community who are grieving the death of a loved one.
