Marietta First Baptist Church has been ministering to the Marietta and Cobb County community for more than 170 years. From the beginning, our focus has been on missions and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ here in Marietta and around the world. We have planted local churches, supported missionaries across the globe, and sent disaster relief teams around the country. We have many varied ministry and mission opportunities where you can roll up your sleeves and work alongside other believers to make a difference for someone in need. Most of our ministries are based locally, serving Marietta, Cobb County and surrounding communities, but we are also active in national and international mission programs and send teams on mission trips regularly.
Listen to the New Testiment in 40 Days
When was the last time you read the Bible? You are invited to listen to the New Testament for 40 days. The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in coordination with Faith Comes By Hearing is providing the opportunity to each person in our church, who agrees, to listen to a CD or MP3 of the New Testament. We can hear the entire New Testament in 40 Days by taking 28 minutes a day to listen to Gods word.
This is a great chance for you to begin a daily Bible devotion or to enhance your present devotional time. It is a great opportunity for families to take time each day to hear the Word of God. For many of you listening can take place in your car as you drive to and from work each day. Whatever avenue you choose, it is a way for us to further develop our relationship with God through the scripture.
The CDs are available in Sunday School, Worship or by calling the church office. The CDs are free of charge.
