Education is the heart of our ministry at Marietta First Baptist Church. Sound Christian principles plant the seeds of faith that are invaluable as new Christians grow into mature Christians. Our two schools focus on two populations in our community—preschool and kindergarten children and new immigrants.
The Center for Early Education has been in operation for more than 50 years serving the children of Marietta and Cobb County and their families. Children two-years-old through kindergarten are taught by gifted and loving teachers. Our students learn the basic skills they will need to be successful in school as well as the fact that God loves them and we love them.
Marietta First Baptist also has the oldest English School in Cobb County and has been providing English-as-a-Second-Language lessons for more than 35 years. This ministry is vital to our community’s immigrant population as they learn the language of their new home. In addition to language classes, we also teach citizenship classes to help our students make the transition to becoming United States citizens.
