Spiritual Formation Ministry
Devoted to helping adults become mature, life-long disciples The Spiritual Formation Ministry of FBCM seeks to provide multiple opportunities for all ages to belong, learn, fellowship and serve others. Adults can be shaped in their faith by studying God’s Word, encouraged in their journey through sharing life together with others and equipped in their gifting by growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. No matter which life stage you are in, the following venues are offered for personal and corporate discipleship. We welcome you and invite you to join us in becoming spiritually formed in to the person of Jesus Christ. For more information, contact our Associate Pastor Rev. Philip Vestal at firstname.lastname@example.org or 770.424.8326.
Led by gifted and committed teachers, our diverse style of classes offer a variety of approaches to help adults learn and apply God’s Word for daily living, experience fellowship and participate in community outreach. Whether you are single or married, FBCM offers many classes which meet every Sunday morning from 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM. For a complete listing of our Bible Study Classes, click here
“Learning in Faith with Each Other” happens in annual seminar settings where critical topics such as prayer, parenting, evangelism, finances, and marriage are taught in depth from a Biblical perspective. Seminars are usually 6-8 weeks in length and are open to all adults interested in learning Christian precepts to life’s most important issues. “Learning in Faith with Each Other” happens in small groups, where friendships of faith are forged and celebrated. Our L.I.F.E. Groups focus on doing life together with 4-6 couples or 8-10 individuals either at church or in homes and they can meet any day of the week. Our groups are an outreach of FBCM and help support the church at large. They can be generational or intergenerational and all groups emphasize prayer, discussion, accountability and support for one another in life’s journey. Contact Rev. Philip Vestal at email@example.com if you are interested in either leading or participating in a small group.
“Learning in Faith with Each Other” happens in settings offsite, away from the stress of life’s demands. Gathering for a weekend of rest and renewal, adults can be rejuvenated in their life with God through private prayer and Bible study, personal reflection, as well as corporate worship and fellowship.
