56er Sunday School

56ers in Sunday School

Each week our 5th and 6th graders meet on Sunday mornings for Bible study, games, and other fun activities. Sunday School for the 56ers is a lot different from when they were in Children's Sunday School. Most of their lessons are based on a topics that applies to their life. For example, they often talk about how to your can handle a bully with a Christ-like attitude or how you can have an attitude of gratitude. The curriculum used in Sunday School is designed for preteens to learn how to live their everyday life the way Christ has taught us.

Missions

One of our primary goals for our 56er age group is to provide opportunities for our 56ers to engage in hands on missions projects. During Sunday School the 56er teachers often have missions projects for the preteens. Some of their favorite projects include collecting money to build clean water wells in India, writing letters to people on our prayer list, and making pies for home-bound members.

Location

The 56ers meet for Sunday School in the 56er area, which is on the top floor of the Family Life Center building. To find the Family Life Center building, or FLC for short, visit our Welcome Center. Volunteers in the Welcome Center would be glad to greet you and help you find the 56er class.
