Josh has been Minister of Connections at First Baptist Church Marietta since June 2026. He is married to Nicki, and they have two children. Before joining the FBC staff, Josh was a middle and high school teacher for 18 years. He taught US History, Medieval History, Bible, Theology, English, and Journalism. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS, and Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University in Waco, TX.

Josh enjoys spending time with family, reading, playing guitar, live music, board games, watching movies, finding good local restaurants, traveling, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Denver Broncos, and all Baylor sports.
