Wonderful Wednesdays

Wonderful Wednesdays are a time when our children get to explore their faith, learn how they can share God's love around the world, and how to worship God through many different art forms! Each Wednesday children ages 3 years-old* through 5th grade will participate in age-graded children's worship arts classes and rotation stations. Some of the activities your child will experience are singing, drama, playing instruments, missions, Bible study, games, and lots more!

*Children must be three-years-old by September 1, 2026 to be old enough to participate. Childcare in the nursery is provided for children under three.

Wonderful Wednesdays is a part of FBCM’s Wednesday Night Connection.

2026-2027 Theme:

This year, kids are invited to explore our Wonderful Wednesday theme: Live It Out! Inspired by Micah 6:8 and Ephesians 4:1–3, children will discover that following Jesus isn't just about what we believe—it's about how we live every day. Through engaging rotation stations, hands-on activities, creative experiences, and meaningful conversations, kids will learn how to put their faith into action by doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with God.

Throughout the year, children will journey through exciting units that help them live out their faith in practical ways:

• Live It Out: Do Justice, Love Kindness, and Walk Humbly – Discover what Micah 6:8 teaches us about following God.

• Live Out Justice – Learn how Christians are making a difference around the world through the work of CBF field personnel, experience cultures through cooking, and bring Bible stories to life through creative drama.

• Live Out Kindness – Serve others through hands-on mission projects and meet local organizations that show God's love by caring for people in our own community.

• Live Out Walking with God – Explore important milestones of faith like baptism, communion, worship, and God's calling, while responding to God through creative art and personal reflection.

Wonderful Wednesdays are designed to help children grow in their relationship with God while discovering that faith isn't just something we learn—it's something we live out every day.

Through fun activities, hands-on experiences, and meaningful reflection, kids will see how God makes room for each of them to grow, serve, and belong.

Adult Wednesday Night Connection Activities

While your child is participating in our Wonderful Wednesday activities, we also have some activities for our adults. At 6pm there is a Worship & Prayer time in the Fellowship Hall, followed by Adult Small Groups. To find out more about these activities, click the “more info” button.
