Wonderful Wednesdays

Wonderful Wednesdays are a time when our children get to explore their faith, learn how they can share God's love around the world, and how to worship God through many different art forms! Each Wednesday children ages 3 years-old* through 5th grade will participate in age-graded children's worship arts classes and rotation stations. Some of the activities your child will experience are singing, drama, playing instruments, missions, Bible study, games, and lots more!

*Children must be three-years-old by September 1, 2025 to be old enough to participate. Childcare in the nursery is provided for children under three.

Wonderful Wednesdays is a part of FBCM’s Wednesday Night Connection.

2025-2026 Theme:

This year, kids are invited to explore our Wonderful Wednesday theme: Wide Open Spaces which comes from Psalm 18:19: “God stood me up in wide open spaces; I stood there saved—surprised to be loved!” Each week, children will discover the wide and welcoming love of God through interactive rotation stations.

These themed stations will help kids experience the different "spaces" God opens for us:

• Space to Welcome – showing kindness and hospitality

• Space to Act – serving others with courage and compassion

• Space to Play – building friendships through joyful play

• Space to Wonder – asking big questions and exploring faith

• Space to Pray – learning to talk and listen to God

• Space to Worship – celebrating God through music and movement

• Space to Lead – practicing how to lead with love and confidence

Through fun activities, hands-on experiences, and meaningful reflection, kids will see how God makes room for each of them to grow, serve, and belong.

Adult Wednesday Night Connection Activities

While your child is participating in our Wonderful Wednesday activities, we also have some activities for our adults. At 6pm there is a Worship & Prayer time in the Fellowship Hall, followed by Adult Small Groups. To find out more about these activities, click the “more info” button.
