We are looking forward to having your, your family, and the Marietta Community here for our Christmas Eve service. This special service will take place Sunday, December 24th at 10:30am in our Sanctuary. As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus, there are a few things we want you to be aware of so you will be prepared for this service:

·      Special Time – 10:30am

o   The Christmas Eve Service starts at 10:30am. If you arrive at the usual time of our Sunday service, you will be late.

·      No Sunday School

o   There will be no Sunday School classes this Sunday (12/24) or next Sunday (12/31) for adults, students, and children. Sunday School will resume on January 7th.

·      Children’s Church will begin at 10:30am; K-5th Grade kids to join worship halfway into the service.

o   Our K-5th graders are invited to join us for Children’s Church at 10:30am in the Theater Room (you may drop off as early as 10:10am). Halfway through the service we will bring the kids into the sanctuary for the Children’s Message with Rev. Lauren Mills. After the Children’s Message, children will go and sit with their families for the remainder of the service.

·      Childcare for birth-PreK opens at 10:10am for drop off in the Children’s Area.

·      Parking on Sunday

o   We encourage you to reserve our two parking lots for guest and individuals with mobility issues. Those who park in the parking deck may bring their ticket to the Welcome Center to receive a validation sticker so we can pay for your parking!

Our ministerial and office staff have been busy planning for this special time of worship where we will both celebrate the fourth Sunday of Advent, as well as Christmas Eve. You’re not going to want to miss some of the special things we have planned. Because of the earlier time of the service, we are able to have our full choir and orchestra lead us in worship for Christmas Eve. We will also sing Christmas carols, share in communion, and hear a special message from Rev. Brandon Owen.
