J.O.Y MINISTRY - JUST OLDER YOUTH

First Baptist Church Marietta brings a fun and active ministry for adults who are 60 years of age and older. JOY, which stands for Just Older Youth, welcomes every adult to participate in opportunities of fellowship, community, adventure, and mission for the purpose of personal fulfillment and friendship. Questions? Friday, September 18
Dahlonega and lunch at the Smith House Restaurant
Cost: $20 (this will include your lunch payment)

We’re traveling to Dahlonega, Ga. to let you do shopping, looking, perusing the Old General Store, visit the Gold Mining Museum, maybe even have an ice cream cone, or just sitting on a park bench for “people watching”.
Meet in the Welcome Center at 9 am.

Friday, October 16
Zion Baptist Church Museum
We'll go to lunch following our visit (individually pay). Meet in the Welcome Center at 9:30 am.

Friday, December 18
The JOY Ministry will be heading to Ringgold Georgia to see "Christmas Spectacular"! This is a show similar to what you see in Pigeon Forge or Branson Missouri. Limited tickets available.

Cost: $25. Please RSVP to Kelly Singleton by September 17. 

Meet in the Welcome Center at 1 pm. Please each lunch before you come. We'll stop for dinner on the way home (individually pay). We plan to be home around 7:30 pm.

Whether it’s a Movie Day, Cook Out, an annual Banquet, or Summer Bible Study, we enjoy gathering throughout the year for special events that foster joy, spiritual development, and a sense of community.
